In response to the pain points of traditional LED spherical screens being heavy and complex to install, a certain technology company today launched a modular lightweight LED spherical screen solution. The solution uses an aviation-grade aluminum alloy frame and flexible circuit board design, with a single display module weighing only 1.2 kg, reducing weight by 60% compared to traditional products. It supports quick disassembly and reassembly in different locations. At the same time, through chip-level energy efficiency optimization algorithms, the screen power consumption is reduced to 80 W/㎡, saving 35% compared to the industry average, and combined with intelligent sleep functions, it can further reduce idle energy consumption. In a pilot project in a commercial complex in Shenzhen, an 8-meter diameter spherical screen consumes only 50% of the traditional scheme's daily electricity, which is expected to reduce carbon emissions by about 2.3 tons per year.
